Not six months after purchasing it, my FitBit charge just sits on the charger with a Green Screen of Death, making little buzzes every know and then. Customer support is sure all I need to do is clean the contact points, or do a hard reset, because that's what they've said every time I've reached out. One customer support rep actually said it might be because I had iOS 16.1.1 instead of 16.1.2. Really?
God forbid they offer to replace it.
Sorry, FitBit. Back to Garmin, because I'm not setting another $120 on fire.

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @JNEWBY765.
Thanks for all the information that you've shared about this issue with your Charge 5 and for confirming that you had already tried a few troubleshooting steps with the Support team.
I've been informed that you were able to get in touch with the Customer Support team again and it seems they were able to provide you with some instructions. In this case, since you already tried all the basic steps shared in the forums, I do recommend that you continue the communication with them so they can let you know how to proceed.
Thanks for taking the time to share all your comments and feedback about this.
