Charge 5 is not recording Health Metric data

My Charge 5 has not recorded HRV, BR, Resting Heart Rate, etc for two days.  I have tried logging off and force stopping the App.

Thank you for sharing this information about the problem that you've been experiencing with your Health Metrics. 

Keep in mind that the Health Metrics tile are not available in all regions. To check if the tile is available in your region, see the health metrics page on the Fitbit website. 

Before considering other options, please verify that your Fitbit has logged a sleep session for at least three hours long on consecutive nights. If you're still having trouble, make sure to complete a restart procedure. Keep in mind that only sleep periods greater than 3 hours are considered and that you need to wear your device for at least a full day, including to sleep at night. 

In case the problem is related to the app, please follow the steps listed here below: 

  • Log out from the app.
  • Clear Cache for the Fitbit app on your phone's settings (Settings > Apps > Fitbit app > Storage > Clear cache)
  • Restart your phone. 
  • Log back in to check if you're able to see the metrics. 
  • Uninstall and reinstall the app, as this has been useful for other users experiencing something similar. 
  • Try to set up your Charge 5 as a new device in your account if you're still having the same problem.
