I mountain bike and hike in Western NC, counting floors is a major item for me.

I will be returning my Charge 5.....

What a disappointment!!

Floor counting is not available on the Charge 5 and has been removed from all Fitbits currently available on the Fitbit store.  Many of the older Fitbits do have this metric, but you may not be able to find one with full warranty as it may be from an unauthorised third party seller.  I am sorry not to have a better solution for you!  But welcome to the forums anyway.

Hi there, @Ctaylor60. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post. I understand how you must be feeling.

As @Julia_G has mentioned, floors aren’t tracked on Charge 5, Luxe or any Inspire series devices. Although it is designed without floor feature, your device can track as many activities as other Fitbit devices does. For more information about your Fitbit Charge 5, see Fitbit Charge 5 User Manual.

@Ctaylor60   The information shared by @Julia_G is slightly incorrect.  The Sense 2 and Versa 4 have the relative altimeter and count floors.
