I regularly do a walk which I know is 5.8km. My Charge 5 has recorded 5.6km and 6.27km. Before I start I make sure the GPS is connected. I look at the map and they are all the same. Very hard to get a consistent picture of how I am tracking. What is the solution

Hi there, @DaveDS. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. It's sad to hear that your Charge 5 is not tracking your GPS data accurately. I understand where your concern is coming from.
Please note when you track an activity with GPS, your device calculates your distance using GPS data rather than steps. If you begin moving before you get a GPS signal, your device calculates distance using your steps until GPS connects. If the GPS signal disconnects, your phone or Fitbit device continues to search for a signal.
To update your stride length, track a run with GPS or measure your stride length manually. For more information, see Can I change my stride length in my Fitbit account?
For more information about GPS, see: How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?
