Charge 5 is not tracking my steps properly

Steps were only recording 1/2 of the amt. I actually walked. 

Was told to Add New Device on my cell phone.  Did this and count came up correct steps on tracker. 

However, when the phone synched, the total steps went back to 1/2 of the amt. of steps I walked today. What do I do now?

Please note there's nothing left we in the community can suggest as our team already shared with you all the steps we could've also provided here.
