I have had 2 Charge 5s die now! The first one lasted 8 months and died on vacation after swimming. I got that replaced under basic 1 year warranty. The replacement lasted 11 months but again died after swimming! I did not buy an 2 year warranty because I have had my HR for many years and still use it as a back-up, and my son has an Ace 2 that he has had for over 3 years without problem, so I didn't think I needed the extra warranty because I was purchasing a quality product. I needed something waterproof, flat to my wrist, and can track oxygen due to a chronic health problem. I love the Charge 5 and wanted another one. Customer service just offered 35% off (full price only even though it was on sale so it would only be $20 off) of a new one, except they don't even have it in stock!! When I called back to complain they didn't even care. I am so frustrated! I will not waste my money with another Charge 5. Looking into another brand!

Hi @MichelleRN77 the warranty on these devices is from the date of the original purchase, even when you've had a replacement. They offer a discount as a courtesy, as it's not in the terms of the warranty. click to learn more
