Charge 5 is too dim

I must read my fitbit information on my cell phone because i cannot read my device.  i is less than 9 months old. any trick to make it work?

Sorry to see you're having problems reading the screen on your Charge 5. 

First of all, I suggest checking to see if Sleep mode is on.

• Scroll down from the clock face until you see Sleep Mode.
• If it shows as On, tap once to turn it off.

Next to check is the display brightness:

• Scroll down from the clock face until you see the Settings tile (last one)
• Tap to open Settings
• Tap on Display Settings (first tile)
• Tap on Brightness to select the brightness level: Normal, Max, Dim

Hopefully, one of these settings will return your display to a brightness that you can read.
