Charge 5 is turning off while walking

My Charge 5 screen has recently started going dark even though the battery is still charged. I can't walk 3 miles without this happening. It usually doesn't happen if I'm just going about my day, but if I am tracking activity like a walk it happens after 30to 45 minutes. I get home it says I have battery and I recharge to 100%. Anyone know why this is happening and any fixes for the problem. Thinking about upgrading to Charge 6 or Sense 2. Thanks

Hi there, @loxon76. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is shutting down while walking. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

To better assist you, may I know if this is happening only when you walk? Have you tried any other exercise? When did this start happening?

If you haven't done so yet, please try the steps below:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon at the top-left corner.
  2. Tap your Fitbit device image.
  3. Near the bottom of the page, tap Sync Now.

If the above doesn't work, please restart your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? Note: Restarting the device doesn’t delete any data. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

mine has been doing the same, however there is specific thing that makes it occur.  I find it frustrating as I use the alarm to wake me in the morning
