Hi I have checked my sleep tracker this morning and there is no entry at all, it's as though it hasn't detected I was asleep at all. I wear it the same every night and isn't too slack to move around. I've had it too on the odd occasion where it has told me I've woken up at just after 2am when I haven't.

Hello there, @AndyC82. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Charge 5.
I recommend considering the following in order to get sleep stages:
For more information, see What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages?
Additionally, I'd recommend to sync your Charge 5 to the app after waking up. This will help to make sure that all your data is sync properly.
Also, note that your time asleep is calculated by subtracting your time spent awake and restless from your overall tracked sleep time. For example, if you slept 8 hours but woke up 2 times for 15 minutes each, your time asleep would be 7 hr 30 min.

This also happened to me this morning. Has never happened before. Was asleep for well over eight hours and there is no sleep recorded, resting heart rate, or variable heart rate/oxygen levels recorded for the night. No simplified sleep either. I think this is a Fitbit issue and not a usage issue.

I wear it the same every night, it's just inconsistent, I've also checked this morning and wore it at the same time as my Apple Watch, the Apple Watch measured over 7 hours sleep, the fitbit measured 1 hour 18 minutes and think I woke up after this time. Battery is charged and I've made sure it's tight enough and about 3 finger widths up my wrist.

Hi I've tried all of this, again this morning it hasn't tracked my sleep or resting heart rate.

I've been having the same problem for the past two nights. No sleep registered. Most nights it registers, but some nights it doesn't. Very inconsistent

I had a Charge 5 that died after two years. It never had this problem. But it has happened several times with a new Charge 5 that I’ve had for a couple of weeks. Last night, it recorded my sleep until the time I got up to use the bathroom, but it recorded no sleep after I went back to bed.
