My last two Charge 5s have required replacing after some circa 3 to 3am (BST or GMT) crashes or nukes them. Last night the latest stopped working at the same time and has only started operating again on restart (of everything). What the h*ll can I do to guard against the small-hours death zone?

The only thing I can suggest is to make sure your Charge 5 is running the latest firmware version. Sometimes updates can fix bugs that cause crashes.

Just to confirm, by crashing do you mean that your tracker won't turn on? Or is the issue with a specific feature not working? Also, by restart do you mean the steps described here with the charging cable?
