Congratulation! Your Charge 5 already damaged!
I already call CS, CS tell me full refund in my case, Because under warranty period (10 months) and cannot replacement device in Hong Kong.
But full refund price less than original price US$35 and deduct transfer to Hong Kong local bank with get 3% handling fee. The refund cannot cover to buy same Charge 6 Device (about US$177).

Mine is 18 mom old and having the same issue. They only last about this long. I am thinking of switching to an Apple Watch now.
