I have had this problem for many months and have tried all the fixes that have been listed. It will work for awhile but then right back to being unreliable.
I would like to know - what is the life span of a charge 5? What should I replace it with? I do not want to replace it just to have these problems again. I really like the features of charge 5, but it's sort of useless when it turns off during a walk.

Hi there, @Jack232. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 keeps turning off despite all the fixes you've tried. I understand your concern and how you must be feeling, I will do my best to help you with this!
To better assist you, would you mind sharing with me the troubleshooting steps you tried?
In the meantime, if you haven't done so yet, please try the steps below:
If the above doesn't work, please restart your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? Note: Restarting the device doesn’t delete any data. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

I have this problem too and none of the above fixes it.
