Charge 5 losing steps

I broke my Versa 3 and decided to just get a charge 5. I set it up lastnight after I had like 480 steps on the old watch. This morning I went for a walk, logged like 2000 steps and came back and it was at 480. reset and resynced everything and now I keep reverting back to 1265 steps. Ive walked around 6 miles today and tried multiple resets/uninstalls, even reinstalled the firbit app. Anyone seen anything like this?

My Charge is having trouble recording my steps as well. I did over 21k yesterday 20th August but this morning it only registered 2439 steps. Maybe there was a bug in it yesterday?

Maybe! I was assuming it couldn't be a weird glitch like that, but it has not done it today so far
