Charge 5 mixed feelings….

Hi, recently got the charge 5 (have been using an inspire hr up to now).

i have mixed feelings about it so far.

love the aesthetics and the fit, very comfortable.

after first night wearing it I could not work out why it had not tracked my sleep. Also was giv8ng no heart rate info. Switched to dominant wrist and it works! I have a full tattoo sleeve on my non dominant arm. This seems to be the issue but was not a problem for my inspire hr!

also it is a shame that the gps does not track my walks, apparently I have to run or bike for that to work, can this be changed as I never run and bike very little in the winter!

i am seeing if I can live with wearing it on my other wrist, only time will tell.

Gps tracking for walking should be an easy fix?

Hello @Tubss

It can track your walks with GPS if you want it to.

I've just checked and if you tap your profile picture on the Today screen of your App on your phone, then Charge 5, then scroll down to Exercise Shortcuts, you can delete any you don't want by swiping left.  Then you can select new ones to add.  On the list that are perhaps good for you are: Walk, Hike and Outdoor Workout.  If you choose the best one for you and then sync your Charge 5, it will turn up under Exercise on your tracker.

If you swipe to the left from the clock face twice, you come to Exercise.  Swipe up to choose the one you want, for example, Walk.  Press start and swipe up and GPS is an option that you can toggle on or off.

I hope that helps to solve that problem for you.
