After attaching my Fitbit to wall charger , Fitbit display shows 1% with flashing red lights around 1% but fit bit doesn't charge
not even a year old ? Any advise thanks

Thanks for sharing that you've been having the same inconvenience with your Charge 5.
Before considering other options, please make sure that you've followed the steps provided in this article to resolve problems with the battery.
If the device is charging, but the screen is completely black or unresponsive, make sure that you've also completed the restart procedure using the charging cable, as described here.

I have tried those and pressing the button on the charger three times (for a second) within 8 seconds - whilst this made the screen come on quickly with the 1% and flashing red it had no long term benefit.
Best AnswerNothing seems to work. I will contact customer support, but have to say not at all pleased. This is my 3rd Fitbit product that has managed to stop working at just about the 2yr old threshold. All have been battery issues. Seems strange that they all are on the same time line. Hate to say it but seems like built in obsolescence.
