Charge 5 - not detecting anything and battery draining quickly

Hi,

My fitbit has started giving problems from yesterday. Below are the list:

a) Not documenting any steps / heart rate

b) Greenlight at the back is not blinking, infact there no no light that is blinking

c) Battery is draining quickly

I have tried below for trubleshooting, but nothing is working

a) Restart the device multiple time

b) Factory reset the device

c) Fully discharged the device, and then fully charged it again

d) changed the clockface using the app

 

Any help on this will be appreciated. Device is 1.5 years old

It looks like you've tried the recommended troubleshooting without success. 

There's one unconventional process to consider. A Charge 5 user was able to get their device working again by exposing it to freezer temps. Although there's no guarantee that this will work for your case, it's worth a try. Here's the thread (<-- click link) where the user describes what they did.
