Hi Fitbit team

got my charge 5 on saturday. I charge it , set it up without failure. I have weared it since saturday . But i have the same problem i had with charge 4. it will not hive me a sleep score and will not syncronize automatically in the morning. I must force it. This is frustrating! Also got some problem according to Get it record active minutes into my daily goal. I must set training manually for just a walk. Anyone Else having these problems? @Merete67norway Hi there. Thanks for the detailed information shared.

I see where your frustration is coming from. Take into consideration that in order to have sleep score, your Charge 5 needs to track sleep stages. May I know if you're getting sleep stages or only sleep pattern?

Check out the following scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

In regards to the syncing difficulties you're experiencing, follow this syncing troubleshooting

Hope this helps.

As told i have got sleep stages the last two nights. But i had to put watch in sleep mode when going to bed. Should it be necessary to put in sleep mode for getting sleep score and stages. I will look at the troubleshootings you gave me. Thanks

@Merete67norway Thank you for getting back.

There's no need to track sleep using the Fitbit app as by only wearing your Charge 5, it will automatically track your sleep. Please check the tips mentioned above and continue monitoring its functionality.

Have a nice day.
