Charge 5 not doing maps

Charge 5 not displaying any maps after activity. There is not even a GPS setting possible in the Settings. Charge 5 is synced to Google Health, i think... because it asked to do so last year.

I see you've had your Charge 5 since at least March 2022. Did your Charge 5 display maps before and doesn't now?

I had maps before, but it was perhaps 9 months ago I used it last. At some point it disapeared. There is no trace anywhere for GPS settings in the Fitbit app as described in the link or similar posts. Will it only record a GPS track if I first have actively selected an excersice before starting? Could this have to do with the connection to Google's app? Thought it tracked all exercises, even the ones it figured out itself.
