Numerous problems on upgrading firmware

All my problems started yesterday, which appears to be related to the latest firmware:

-White cross on red circle.

-Black Screen.

-Intermittent flashing fb logo.

-‘Settings’ tab not functioning.

-Battery draining in minutes.

-‘Apps synching’ displayed continually.

 

I can’t believe that the volume of similar problems on the forum are all unrelated.

I have tried all the various suggested actions to no avail.

I believe at this stage that fitbit have a problem with the latest software release and it’s implementation.

Hi, @Porridge51 welcome, assuming you have restarted your Charge 5 as demonstrated in this video & considered these suggestions How do I update my Fitbit device? without success, I recommend you talk to "Customer Support". Use the chat facility or phone for a prompt response. It's a good move to note the steps you've taken & the results so you can brief the agent accurately and allow them to understand your issue.

Thank you, yes I have done as suggested without success.

It all went downhill once the update started to download.

I’ll have a chat with support.

I was also interested in understanding whether others having these issues noticed any correlation with the update?
