Charge 5 not receiving notifications

My Charge 5 is not getting message or calendar notifications from the galaxy S24+.  Also doesn't appear to sync with contacts. Suggestions

Hi there, @LTB. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is not receiving notifications. I will do my best to help you with this! 

As a first approach, I'd recommend checking whether your Versa 4 is in sleep mode. When sleep mode is on:

  • Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders are muted.
  • The screen's brightness is set to dim.
  • The screen stays dark when you turn your wrist. To wake your tracker, firmly tap the screen twice.
  • The sleep mode icon illuminates in quick settings.

Regarding the contacts not syncing, I'd like you to please confirm if you have enabled the Fitbit app permissions under Settings of your Android device. If you've done that, please try going to the phone Settings > Apps > Fitbit > Permissions and toggle off "Contacts", then restart your phone and toggle "Contacts" back on.

Following up on your suggestions got me further into the system on my new
phone. I am now getting notifications, including contact information when
appropriate. Thank you.
