Charge 5 not receiving notifications

Had a Charge 3 and with my Android S9 used to get text message notifications.  

 

Have upgraded to the Charge 5 last week. and all notifications have stopped. No changes to the app and phone, so wondering what has happened.

I don't have Android personally, but I've heard lots of people saying clearing the cache can make a difference.  Have you checked that all of the settings are still turned on? 

 

There was a firmware update recently and after that I found my Heart Zone notifications had mysteriously turned themselves back on.  I find them incredibly annoying when I'm trying to jog and reset it as soon as I got home.  It might be checking that your settings are still where they should be.

 

One other thing to try is restarting your Charge 5.  It's quite painless from the Charge 5 itself. Scroll down from the clock face until you get to Settings. Tap and scroll up until you get to Restart Device, press it and go.  (I had a different problem a few weeks ago, restarted, and it fixed it).

I have an iPhone SE 2020 and do not get most of my notifications. if I go to the Bluetooth setting it switches from connected to not connected frequently in just 1 minute. So same problem.
