Earlier today my Charge 5 froze on the logo screen randomly. It stayed like that for a few hours and then went blank. It now won’t respond. I have done the reset (click charger button 3 times). It quickly showed the logo screen again, went blank and now is making a high pitch noise whenever attached to the charger. It is still not responding and won’t respond to another reset. I’ve had it for 9 months.

Thank you for sharing that you've having this inconvenience with your Charge 5 device and that you already tried a few troubleshooting steps.
If you already tried to complete the 3 pulse restart procedure and you continue to experience the same problem, please try changing the clock face as well and check if you're able to see anything on the display.

Just tried that but got a message saying unable to connect to device.
