I have done them all apart from restarting my fitbit. I am unable to do that as my screen is completely black.

I appreciate your answer and the additional information. In order to try to restart your device, you can perform it with the charging cable, as it's explained in the following help article : How do I restart my Fitbit device?

I had already tried pressing button on charger 3 times and waiting 10seconds. It doesn't work. I've now plugged it and unplugged it 3 times, waited 10seconds and that doesn't work either.
