Charge 5 - not syncing and unable to charge

My problem started today when my charge 5 failed to sync, noticed it was over 14hours ago last done.  Connected it to charger and it does connect but fails to charge for me to be able to reset my watch. 

Seems to be another issue with their dodgy app update like last time but telling everyone there isn't an issue, got my other watch on stand by to use.

Disappointed AGAIN!!!!
