Charge 5 not syncing properly

I have just purchased a Charge 5 as I was fed up of having to sync my Charge 4 and connect to Bluetooth every time I logged into the App. Now I have the same problem with Charge 5! I can see from posts that this is not a new problem. Please get it sorted.

One unhappy Fitbit user.

What troubleshooting have you already tried?  Also, what's your OS?
