Same issue here, also started yesterday after a couple months of perfect operation. Won’t sync (times out) even tho it shows connected.  Tried toggling Bluetooth on/off, restarting device, restarting iPhone (13 pro), deleting and reinstalling app.  Charge is at 46% but now it won’t charge either. @SunsetRunner Thank you for your reply and for confirming that you're experiencing the same inconvenience with your Charge 5.

Could you please also confirm if you've tried all the troubleshooting steps mentioned here earlier and if you're still having the same problems after that?

Yes I did all of that.  What I finally did was a full reset and wipe as if I was going to give it to someone else, then set it up as new.  It’s worked *almost* fine for the past week now.  By “almost” there is one odd thing: when I sync to my iPhone 13 everything comes over fine except the battery level.  That’s stuck at 38% even as the actual battery (and % display on the Charge 5 itself) changes appropriately as I charge and use.

@SunsetRunner Thank you for sharing this update. It's good to know that your device is syncing properly again.

Regarding the inconvenience with the battery level not updating in the app, the team is already aware of this problem and they're currently working to resolve it. In the meantime you can force quit the app as described here and reopen it to see the correct % within the iOS app. Rest assured that the battery percentage displayed on your Fitbit device should always be accurate.

See you around.
