I, too, am having issues since the last update. My Fitbit quit connecting to Bluetooth and then went black. After trying everything recommended, I now have the Fitbit Icon blinking. My Fitbit is useless! I have been using a Fitbit for years, and I love it! My Fitbit Charge 4 failed after one of the updates, and I upgraded to the 5. I'm considering switching to Applewatch.

This is EXACTLY what happened to me. Even down the blinking logo. I'm putting in for a warranty claim right now since it's 11 months old. I have had fitbit for years too.
I am not sure they will honor the warranty, lots of questions and photos requested about charging cables and adapters but I'm going to try.

Welcome to the club. Twice I was on with tech support who told me they would look into it and get back to me. Nothing (and it's been almost 2 weeks). There is no way all of these FBs could have died overnight like this. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but it does seem they have no intent on fixing this problem and just hope we all buy new ones.

Such a bummer! I loved Fitbit and started with it almost 10 years ago. I finally tried a Garmin a few years ago and didn't love it as much as Fitbit. After 2 years I went back to Fitbit. However, last night when my 11-month-old Fitbit Charge 5 black screened of death inconveniently at bedtime when I went to set my morning alarm, I pulled my (still working now 3 year old) Garmin out from my dresser drawer, charged it in less than 30 minutes, and had my alarm for the morning.
I will update on my warranty claim.

Same with me. Have beem stuck on logo screen since April 2024! Calls to support havent helped. I followed an older thread for some advice and no long term fix though kt did come to life for about 12 hours only to return to same logo ..
I was out of warranty - not by much as it was a gift - they offered a 35% discount code. I called back and said that wasnt inspiring. They sent a 50% code. Now im not sure i want to buy the charhe 6 - will it be a.other wasted $80? I feel like given the consistency of this problem with little corporate response, not sure I trust the company

Exactly the same thing happened to me.. a recent update appears to have borked a perfectly working device. Its dead Jim.. I've of course contacted CS and they were unable to help. I've saved my transcript and have a case and i'm told customer care will contact me with options. I believe this means a 35% off coupon which will not be sufficient to retain me as a customer. I'll consider my options after I'm presented with one by customer care. I've had several Fitbit devices and had a very similar experience with my charge 4 and 5 as you. Interesting...

I'm just flabbergasted really. Fitbit is a huge company. I would think they'd do us right - all I'd accept is a free one at this point. I've also asked for refund of the 79.99 annual subscription to fitbit app which just renewed automatically. Way after last use of fitbit and they told me i had to ask google for it since that is how i purchased it. Needless to say my request for refund has gone unanswered as they arent tuned into the history of technical problems Ive had like fitbit ahould be ...a seventh grader could provide beyter customer service. On to garmin
