Charge 5 screen dimming and flashing

Hi all

Back again as every Fitbit i have seems to go wrong, i have lost count of how many i have had and now this is the latest one to fail.

Started this morning after working out, looked at the screen and could hardly see anything, then it kept flashing getting dimmer and brighter. I changed the brightness to max that didnt do anything, reset the device, changed clock face and its still the same.

I have tried to do a live chat but apparently its not available? any help greatly appreciated.

Thank you for providing the details regarding your Charge 5. Sorry to know the difficulties that you are experiencig with these devices.

If you haven't done so, please perform a restart as indicated below:

If your device is unresponsive:

  1. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, refer to How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  2. Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times with a 1-second pause between each press. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.

Another way to restart your device is to unplug it, wait a second, and plug it back in. Repeat this process 3 times in an 8 seconds interval and then wait 10 seconds until the device restarts.
