Charge 5 screen is blank

My 100% battery Fitbit went weird at the airport on holiday and hasn’t recovered since. Watch screen is blank and off.

Am on holiday without my charger as when fully charged it normally lasts over a week. Have tried to buy a charger but can’t find one. Any ideas how to reset it or get it to come back on. On my old charge 2 you could reset the watch with the button. 

The app still says I have a good amount of battery 95% but can’t find my watch.

 

Please help me!

Thank you for sharing that you've having this inconvenience with your Charge 5 device. 

 

There is a restart option besides the one you can find on the device's settings, but you'll need the charging cable to complete it. Once you're back or when you have you're charging cable, make sure to complete a 3 pulse restart procedure.

In addition, you can also try these additional steps that have been useful for other users:  

 

  1. Follow these steps in case you're having trouble to charge your device. 
  2. Please sync your device in the Fitbit app by tapping your profile picture > Charge 5 > Sync Now.
  3. If you  can't sync, tap on your profile picture > Charge 5 > Tile to see if a firmware banner appears. 
  4. If it's still unresponsive, please try changing the clock face as well and check if you're able to see anything on the display.
