Charge 5 screen is going blank

My Fitbit charge 5 has suddenly developed a fault. The display won't stay on for more than a second and is unresponsive. It is still under warranty. I have restarted it, changed the clock face and installed an update. It worked for a day but is doing the same today.

Since you're already tried the recommended troubleshooting steps without success, the next step is to contact Support (<-- click link) since your device is still under warranty. Complete the prompts until you get to the option to chat or call. They will be able to let you know what are your options under warranty.

Thanks for your message.

I sent a message to Fitbit but later read that as I bought through Amazon,
I must go to them to claim on the warranty.

Thankfully Amazon France dealt with this immediately on their chat line,
and have agreed to refund the purchase price on receipt of the faulty item.
Postage paid by them for the return.

So, nil points to Fitbit, and 10/10 to Amazon France. Not likely to buy
another Fitbit!!
