Charge 5 became unresponsive in July, almost the same week as my wife's charge 5.
Initially it was just the blank screen. After hardware restart it was stuck at the logo. After repeated attempts, I was able to update to the latest firmware and also finish installing all the apps. Device is fully charged and syncs with the app.
Screen in still dark.
Settings within the app does not respond to tape.
App does not show live HR, even though the herat symbol is red.
As far as I can tell, I have successfully completed all the steps suggested on the forum.

To better assist you, please make sure you've restarted your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
