Charge 5 screen slow

For some reason I have to tap my screen several times before it comes on. I’ve had the charge 3, and the charge 4 before this and never had an issue like this.

Have you thought about switching it to Auto instead?  That way you usually won’t need to tap to turn it on, just turn your wrist.

From the Clock Face screen on your Charge 5 swipe down until you get to Screen Wake and switch it to Auto. 

Hopefully that will make things a bit easier for you.
