Charge 5 screen stopped working

My Charge 5 screen stopped displaying. I see 5 dots at the top with a red dot in the middle. It still syncs, but I  see nothing but the dots.

Hi there, @Kristabelle5. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Charge 5.

Please restart your Charge 5 as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Mine did too. After the latest update, it went black and has been deemed a total loss by FitBit. That was my replacement for the original Charge 5 that got wet from doing the dishes and died. So much for water resistance as well. They do not have a warranty for the replacements so all they can offer is a 35% discount so you will have to make another purchase. The amount of money and energy I have spent is worth well more than 35% off. Maybe 50% off seeing as I do not have the funds to be replacing something that was due to defective software, not user error. I love what the Charge 5 offers, however, by the community board, you can see that the Charge 5 has so many issues that it's not worth repurchasing. I am either downgrading to Inspire 3 or taking my business elsewhere.
