My Charge 5 has been working incorrectly for the last week. A multitude of different issues at various times including: battery draining rapidly, not responding to touch/arm movement/swiping, not logging sleep data, not syncing, not charging, offering error messages such as critical battery low/red triangular dot pattern of FitBit logo/red circle with white X in it.
It has worked on/off during the week with these problems resurfacing each day, but in between working for a few hours. However, it is not charging, syncing, telling time, responding to any efforts just the red circle/white X error message.
I've tried:
- to re-set using the button on the charger. No response.
- delete watch from app. Nothing.
- delete app, reinstall. Nothing.
Any other suggestions? It is less than 6 months old.

Sorry to see you are having so many issues with your Charge 5.
Since you've tried the recommended troubleshooting steps and it's still under warranty, I suggest that you contact Fitbit support. They will probably walk you through the same troubleshooting steps that you've already done. Once they confirm that none of the troubleshooting steps return your device to normal operation and that it's still under warranty, they should send you an offer to replace your tracker/pebble or a discount on a different device. Note: the discount is on the full price, even if the device is on sale in the Fitbit store.
This is what I had to do when the screen on my Charge 5 became unresponsive. So far, my replacement tracker is working without issue.

Mine was doing all that and now I have no working screen
