Charge 5 screen wake stopped working

My fitbit charge 5 has suddenly stopped auto waking during the night which for me is a problem as I ride my bike for exercise in the early hours of the morning. DND is off, sleep mode is off and screen wake is on auto. It works fine during the day.  I'm not sure exactly what time the function turns on and off and I don't know of any settings that would affect this function. I have reset the watch but this hasn't helped fix the problem. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it.

Hi there, @RobinKbiggles. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and making sure that DND and sleep mode are off.

By any chance, do you have a sleep schedule enable on your Charge 5? Sleep mode turns off automatically when you set a sleep schedule. For more information, see Settings app

If you have a sleep schedule, try removing it and see if the screen wake starts working. To do so, please follow the steps below:

  1. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab, then tap the sleep tile.
  2. Tap the gear icon in the top right.
  3. To remove a target, tap the three dots in the top right.
  4. Tap Done.

Hope this helps.
