The Fitbit 5 screen went black. I followed all the directions on how to reset it and it simply will not turn on Tried now at least 10 times and is a waste of time does anyone have another way to reset it or do I bite the bullet and throw it out?

Same here! 3 days so it went blank. I did not have the charger with me. Today I’ve tried all the solution proposed. It synchronized once, the logo appeared twice, but nothing… I suspect they did a wrong update… may be on purpose, to make us change it…. 4 Fitbits in 7 years and I’m now determined to change brand… this is really **ahem**

Same here. I'm waiting for a response from customer service. I have been using fitbit for more than 7 years with satisfaction. but now I'm hesitating, I haven't found another suitable brand, but depending on the customer service's desire for a solution, I'll start looking for a more durable option. what other brand have you been thinking of?
