This is the 2nd time this has happened. While out running, the screen goes blank. Will not wake back up. It took 2 days the last time and it finally worked again.
Today, I was ending a 6 mile run, not a hot day, and it stopped. That was 5.5 hours ago. I've tried to restart it with the charging cord, if vibrates, but no luck. I've had this since the end of March and am starting to regret this purchase.

Wow, no comments yet. I guess I have the only piece of crap fitbit out there. One would think fitbit might comment. Discouraging for sure.

I’m having a similar issue. The device is charging and it is tracking my steps and heart rate because I can see the data on the app when I sync it. The screen is just blank. I tried resetting is using the button on the cord but no luck. I also tried changing the watch face and that didn’t work either. It’s very frustrating!

I’m having the same issue. I bought mine in January tho. About a week ago my Fitbit would be charging and once it’s fully charged I would use it for work and next thing you know it turns black and won’t turn on it. I hooked it up to the charger and it’s saying it’s at 9% battery. Today it was charging and it got so hot that I took it off and it won’t come on at all.

My husband has the same issue the reset hasn’t worked and has been like this for 3 days purchased in March. My charge five doesn’t record runs accurately the same route can vary between 4km and 6.5km and a slow to respond when you tap the screen. Wish I’d gone for a Garmin now.
