mid day today the screen went blank (it was about 30% charged). Can’t reset per troubleshooting. Won’t synch. Doesn’t respond to any of the troubleshooting reset steps. Doesn’t seemingly respond to charging. Occasionally I can see a green blink underneath to the unit, but only occasionally). I haven’t been able to use the monitor by gently pressing the sides for over a month )the resets/chat/help ticket didn’t work then).
any other potential remedies?

I had the same issue. Tried everything. Syncing, turn bluetooth on and off, it tracked my steps but there was no display. finally I recharged it fully, logged into my account and updated the Firmware. You have to leave the device close to the phone with the phone plugged while this process updates it. Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestion but I can’t get my charge 5 to synch with my phone. When I check my app it says I’m up to date software wise. My last synch was last night just before midnight.
since I’ve started “trouble shooting” I’ve only gotten the screen to activate twice for maybe a second each time to see a white square followed immediately by the Fitbit star and then blank again.

And now somehow it has synched and I watched the Charge 5 do a firmware update. I did plug my phone in and had the phone next to the Charge 5 (which was also plugged in).
