Charge 5 sensors keep stopping

I’ve only had the Charge 5 a few days but the sensors keep stopping. I reset through the device which worked for a few hours, but then stopped again. Should I send it back for replacement?

Before considering other options, could you please provide a few more details? Let me know what are the sensors that are not working, if you're referring to the steps or to the heart rate feature. 

 

In addition, please try completing the three pulse restart procedure using the charging cable, instead of the restart option that you can find in the device's settings: 

 

  1. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  2. Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times (end of the USB cable), pausing for 1 second between presses. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.
