Charge 5 shut off

I was just going about my day then all the sudden my charge 5 started vibrating very intensely and I couldn't see anything on the screen. When I looked on my app it says battery empty. However, I know I had over 40% left on it at the time. I attached it to the charger and finally icon symbol thing started flashing on it but I'm unable to do anything. I have had it on the charger for almost an hour now and about every other minute it will vibrate once and continue to flash that icon. I'm pretty pissed I can't afford another one and I heavily rely on it to track my sleep due to a seizure disorder.

sounds like you need to clean the contacts, the vibration comes with  connection and disconnection of the charger. i woud use a piece of paper and isopropyl alcohol

Ok thank you I will try that. It still vibrates when I connect it to the charger, and it shows this symbol but that's about it. But it's weird my battery says empty.
