I bought a Charge 5 a couple months ago and saw an exaggerated step count almost right away.
The other day, for example, I pointed at something twice in conversation with a friend about the step count and it added 6 steps. I've seen as much as almost 150 steps in a couple of hours *sitting at my desk typing*.
I use both hands regularly but the right hand slightly more, and I have it on my left hand, and "non dominant" selected.
Any ideast how to lessen the sensitivity? It's really messing up my daily count, taking me I've reached the milestone but knowing darn well I haven't...

@FriendRaven1 Your device's step (and distance) count accuracy should improve if it's able to gather GPS data while you're walking because it will "learn" what a step really is. So just turn GPS on and track some walks as exercises.
I'll keep my fingers crossed. 🤞

@FriendRaven1 I put the dang thing on my ankle! However it misses steps if you run too fast! Overall, it’s a better option. Just an option for you if you can get a band to fit your ankle. I’ve gone through an InspireHR, Charge4 and now Charge5. In the last 4 years. Gotta say the App these last 3 months has had some major issues!
