Charge 5 step streak reset

A few days ago, my Charge 5 step streak, which was at about 990, reset to 4, even though I have well over 10k steps every day. A couple days later, it reset again to 2. Oddly, the app shows that I had 10k steps every day, never missing a single day, going back nearly three years. My Fitbit is synced correctly with my app in all other ways (sleep, exercise, heartbeat, etc). 

I’m due to hit a 1000 day streak on September 30th - I really hope this problem is fixed by then. I see people have been reporting this issue for a few years now. Surely you are able to solve this issue by now!
Can you help fix this problem asap? Thx.

Still not fixed. And I’m not holding my breath. Very frustrating indeed.
