Charge 5 steps not matching workweek cgalkenge

I purchased my Charge 5 in Feb 2022.  It records my dashboard steps correctly, however some weeks it fails to add my steps to my Workweek Hustle  challenge. 
I’ve tried everything and all Fitbit support can reply to me is “We’ve received similar reports and escalated the issue to our engineering team.”
