Charge 5 stopped tracking my breathing rate data

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Although it fairly often falls to record one or another piece of sleep data for a night or two,  my Charge 5 had now failed to record my breathing rate during sleep for seven straight days (all other metrics are fine). I tried restarting it the other day, to no effect.

Welcome back in the community @Hamiltonian.

Thank you for providing the information regarding this situation with your Charge 5.

I'd ask you please verify that your Fitbit has logged a sleep session for at least three hours long on consecutive nights. If you're still having trouble, even though you already did it, make sure to complete a restart procedure as suggested in the article. Keep in mind that only sleep periods greater than 3 hours are considered and that you need to wear your device for at least a full day, including to sleep at night.

In case it is related to the app, please follow the steps listed here below:

  • Log out from the app.
  • Clear Cache and Cookies for the Fitbit app on your phone's settings.
  • Log back in to check if you're able to see your data.

I've cleared the cache, logged back into the app, and restarted the Charge
5, to no discernible effect.

I wear the Fitbit around the clock except when I recharge it (while
showering). The breathing rate is the only sleep metric that has not been
recorded recently, and it has failed to appear for seven straight days. All
other sleep data is present.
