Charge 5 stopped working after getting wet

I was out in the rain and I got water inside of my watch, I know it's ment to be water proof but a seal came out. I pit it in rice for 3 days and the screen is still blank, im wondering if it has a chance of turning on? I got a new charger (not a fitbit product) and it's not vibrating when I plug it in. Does it have a chance?

I haven't charged my fitbit versa 2 in about two years, does that affect the battery? I got a new charger online and it doesn't seem to be turning on or vibrating? The charger was not a fitbit product I found it online, and I'm wondering if it's going to charge and take some time or if it's dead?

Hi @R0D0D3NDR0N  you posted in the Sense 2 area, said you had a Versa 2, but also said you had a Charge 5. Which device do you have?

Rice for three days was good. Some people even use a hair dryer to remove any additional moisture. It might take time for it to charge up.

Two years without charging a device is a long time. These batteries don't last forever, but not being charged for two years, it might be slow to wake up.

Oh I'm sorry, I didn't realize I saw 2 and assumed versa 2. But I have both a versa 2 and charge five, the versa 2, my dad gave to me recently

Hope you can get one of them going soon. I've seen posts on the forum where someone thought their device had died, but after leaving it on the charger for days, it came back alive.
