You're supposed to be able to swim with a charge 5. I went into the pool for 5 seconds, the fit bit started buzzing and the screen turned completely black. I called customer service and after trying to reset with the button on the charger cord, since that didn't work they said well too bad you're out of warranty so just buy a new one at 35% off... as if that makes sense? This is not a warranty issue. I used the product as described and it broke. I spoke with the manager and he also did not care that I did nothing wrong. Just says buy a new one! I'm waiting to hear back from higher up but he wouldn't give me a time estimate on that.

Hi there, @Delayne. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 has stopped working after getting wet. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products into consideration.
As you mentioned, I've seen you contacted our Support Team to report this matter. Even though I truly appreciate you took the time to come here and express your feelings towards your experience with your Charge 5 and also want to find a resolution to your issue, my best advice is to keep the conversation with our team. Someone will be in contact with you soon as they have the resolution for your Charge 5.
Note for this kind of inquiries/cases/process, there's not so much we here in the forums can do for you as this is something that our team handles based on our policies.
Thanks in advance!
