Can someone from Fitbit please help?

my charge 5 stopped working and I have a black screen.

i went to bed with 97% charge and when I woke in the morning the Fitbit was dead.

I put it on the usb charger and my app told me it had the full 100% after charging.

however, I can’t get ANY response from it to switch back on, black screen nothing! 

I checked the app again it still has 44% charge now but I can’t wake it up….any help appreciated 

WAS IT THE NEW UPGRADE ?????

Mine has just done the exact same thing. 

Fine this morning, then maybe an hour ago it was flashing the logo so according to the community, I did a quick reset.

Now i have the dreaded red X on my screen. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it cant even pair to my fitbit 5 anymore

Same exact thing happened to mine. AND this happened with my last Fitbit as well. I had to get another. Both lasted less than 2 yrs. So frustrating.

Same hehe. From night between saturday and sunday (Swedish time) battery went from power 8 to 10 days till 3-5 hours and I cant swipe. I cant choose anything else but the clock. There is no option for reset or restart unit

It happened when my fitbit updated to firmware/software 4.30.

Is there a troublefix or new softare upcoming or how could I flash my unit and use old software?

Version 4.30 is broken

Update: now suddenly everything started working again. Slow batteryloss and freezewindow works again. Thx for help

Still not working after trying reset, get logo and then back to black screen. App says it’s 96%charged? Really annoying no response from Fitbit!

Mine has done this too but I can’t do anything like changing the clock face or restarting it. It just remains with the black face and lots of charge.
I can’t get through to support and am getting increasingly frustrated 🤬

My Luxe is doing the same crazy thing... So I bought a Charge 5 that's supposed to arrive today.Oops!!!!

Very strange nothing from fitbit either.

Hi, nope, did nothing at all. Seems i got a bugfix or something after a 24 hur lång charging. Everything works again. Hopebyou get the same result

Yep I am having the same issue! Contacted support and they just ran me through trouble shooting but didn’t address the actual issue. 
I have had so many issues with this Fitbit it’s  frustrating.

Having the same issue for past 2 weeks.

Suddenly it started working 2 days back, and now again getting the Black screen. This is exactly 1 year old device.

Got this issue exactly on the date of warranty expiry. Not sure whether this has been purposefully done or not.

There are no service centres.

Support person keeps repeating on 2 steps - Press button 3 times, Change clock face. Nothing much from them as well.
