I've been a Fitbit customer since 2011 and have had such a run of bad luck with them that I'm now researching other solutions. I wore my Charge 5 on a cruise last week, and it stopped working the second we left land. When I returned to land the screen started working again but only the time and steps work--none of the other features (hear rate, etc.) work. Customer care wasn't helpful (turn it off, turn it on, etc.). My husband has a different Fitbit device and experienced the same thing--except he's not even getting time and steps now that he's back on land. His Fitbit remains completely non-responsive. Mine stopped working while it was fully charged and on my wrist--so it wasn't an electrical/plug-in issue or anything like that.

Hi, it's good to see you visiting the community forums, @cocoachai.
Thank you for sharing all these details about the inconvenience you've been having with your Charge 5 and for confirming that you already tried a few troubleshooting steps.
I've been informed that you already contacted the Customer Support team for further assistance with this and it seems they've provided you with some instructions. In this case, they will let you know how to proceed.
