Charge 5 stopped working

Dear all,

My fitbit charge 5 worked perfectly well till last week Thursday.

  • I noticed first a timing issue: the internal clock started to show a delay in the hours. 
  • On Sunday, the screen turn black and would not be starting back
  • I recharged, try to restart no success.
  • I pushed the button on the charger 3 times it rebooted but still would not sync with real numbers( it keeps holding back the latest value...) and the back to the watch keep blinking red and discharging in few hours, tracking no activities or any reliable information.
  • I did the reboot 3 times, recharged it each time and the watch is still misfunctioning with the same bilking red light on the back.

What are my next options to try fixt this issue

I sometimes have trouble when I charge my watch , I sometimes find its still on the number I put it on at (60 or 70 something) then have to wait again. Any suggestions?

My watch will be two years old but not until January/February 2024. I don't know what the new firmware is , I don't think I use it but I use the app. But thanks for the advice.
