Welcome to the Fitbit community, @Lashon57!
Sad to hear you're having issues with your Charge 5.
Not knowing what exactly isn't working on your Charge 5, I'd suggest restarting it as a first approach to hopefully get things fixed. Before doing so you should make sure you've synced your device to not lose any data tracked so far. Also you should verify that the charging contacts on your device are clean and the charging pins on it's charging adapter are clean as well and can move flawlessly. In doubt please have a look here:
How do I clean my Fitbit device?
Next please closely follow these instructions as timing is crucial for this procedure:
1.) Connect your Charge 5 to the charging cable which has to be connected to a reliable power source.
2.) Press the button located on the flat end of the charging cable 3 times within 8 seconds(!), holding each press for about 1 second(!).
3.) Wait around 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on your device's display.
I'd like to point out that it sometimes requires more than one attempt to restart Charge 5. So, before throwing the towel, please give it another try.
Another way to solve some issues with Charge 5 is changing your device's clock face will get it back to working order. Here's how to do that:
How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
If your device afterwards will work as expected, you can switch back to the clock face you had selected before.
I'll keep my fingers crossed.

My Fitbit charge 5 is just stuck on the Fitbit symbol. It was working great then yesterday afternoon it stopped working. It won’t connect to my phone. It’s not working. I tried restarting it. Nothing !

Hey, I'm having the same issue. My son is also a Fitbit user and he said that although the devices are allegedly water resistant his last device stopped after getting wet.
In my case, the device was unresponsive when I woke up. The display was blank and it wouldn't sync with my phone. The app was showing 74% charge and my sleep stats were blank.
I also noticed that a solid white line appeared at the bottom of the display about a week ago. I'm not sure what that means.
I put the device on my charging dock for a few hours with no change, meaning nothing on the display and failed to restart using the 3 button presses method. Since I had recently changed the cord that connects the charging dock to its power source I tried putting the device on a charging cord. This resulted in the logo being displayed but the device was still unresponsive so I left it for several hours, during which the logo was displayed. My charging cords don't have a button on the USB-A connector so I tried connecting to my dock using a tested cord to connect the dock to the power source. Trying to restart the device several times has failed.
At this point, sometimes the device will display the logo when first connected to a charger, but is unresponsive to taps or scrolls.
Hope this info helps.
